Greetings and welcome to this weeks style post! Today I am bringing you a Summer look that is as bright, wild, and as colorful as can be. When it comes to colors, I have no boundaries. I love to experiment with all colors. You'd be surprised how much versatility you can get from combining different colors. 

I purchased this green dress when Prabal Gurung launched his Spring 2013 collection at Target last year. I fell in love with this specific collection because it was filled with bright, vibrant colors, and beautiful floral, and watercolor-like prints. This green dress made it to my closet because the color caught my attention immediately. This color is so full of life. It screams Summer, fun, and fearlessness, all things that represent me. I wouldn't have it any other way because well...that's the way I like. 

On the color wheel, red and green opposite each other. These opposing colors are also known as complementary colors. They say opposites attract right? What better way to show that than by styling an outfit using the complimentary colors red and green. I wore this bright green dress with bright red sandals. I also painted my nails red, my lips, and I wore red flower stud earrings. Notice how these vivacious colors are not fighting each other, instead, they are creating a beautiful harmony. They complement each other. I carefully chose these candy apple red sandals because the bottom, and the heels are made of a cork material. I also added the leopard print clutch made out of a straw material to match the natural color of the sandals. The combination of these natural materials create a balance and give this look an earthy feel.

Saludos y bienvenido al segmento de estilo de esta semana. Hoy les traigo un look veraniego que es tan brillante, salvaje, y tan colorido como puede ser. Cuando se trata de colores, no tengo límites. Compré este vestido verde cuando Prabal Gurung lanzó su colección de Primavera 2013 en Target el año pasado. Este vestido verde llegó a mi armario porque el color me llamó la atención de inmediato. Este color esta tan lleno de vida. Es un grito de verano, diversión, y la audacia, todas las cosas que representan mi personalidad. Yo no lo haría de ninguna otra manera, porque bueno ... esa es la manera que me gusta.

En la rueda de colores, rojo y verde opuesta entre sí. Estos colores opuestos también se conocen como colores complementarios. Dicen que los opuestos se atraen ¿no? ¿Qué mejor manera de mostrar que no por labrar un equipo usando los colores complementarios rojo y verde. Me puse este vestido de color verde llamativo con sandalias de color rojo brillante. También me pinté las uñas de color rojo, mis labios, y me puse aretes de flores rojas. Observe cómo estos colores vivaces no están luchando entre sí, en cambio, están creando una bella armonía. Se complementan entre sí. Elegí cuidadosamente estas sandalias rojas de color manzanas de caramelo debido a que la parte inferior, y los talones están hechos de un material de corcho. También he añadido el embrague estampado de leopardo hecho de un material de paja para que coincida con el color natural de las sandalias. La combinación de estos materiales naturales crean un equilibrio y dan a esta mirada una sensación terrosa.
